Home Economics

The one subject I feel inadequate to teach is... home economics. A kind woman on a message board some years back recommended Training Our Daughters to be Keepers at Home for me to learn with before starting to teach my girls. I have come to really appreciate TOD-KAH. I have since added in more help from Polished Cornerstones, a Keepers of the Faith group, and Christian Light Education's Home Economics course. Next on the list is a Bright Lights conference in August and Beautiful Girlhood and a few similar books.

When we identified our goals for home economics (for the girls and I!) we came up with a list which has served as a guide each year. We are slowly starting to build many of the skills on the list.

Nice rounded list. *Ü* I too want to put somehting together like this with my children (boy's included).

Don't know if you seen this one or not, but here is another Home Economics curr. that I am using that isn't on your list: Home Economics for Home Schoolers by Pearables.

Blessings,

Tina
