Poetry Memorization
I wrote a master list a few years ago of the poetry I would like my children to learn. I like to have a list to work from, saving me the time and effort of digging through books each time we need a new poem. My list follows. Most are available online and are linked below. [I have edited this list 4/10/07. I removed a few of the easier rhymes and replaced them with some short poems, and I expanded the selection of longer poems for older students.]
