Poetry Books

I like to keep a few poetry books on hand for reading aloud or copywork. The most-used here is Favorite Poems, Old and New. This is one of those books that every homeschool should have! Another great resource is Poems for Memorization by Rod & Staff Publishers. Finally, we added last year a book and CD set called A Child's Introduction to Poetry by Michael Driscoll. We have other poetry books, but these three are the ones I recommend over and over again.
